The Future Is Near
My birthday was yesterday, and i have to say that it was the most enjoyable birthday i have had in such a long time. So many people wished me happy birthday, and that was great. I talked to all of my closest friends and everything went fine. I had lunch, I got a hand made drum and flute from India, I spent time with my family, i played a gig and sounded great, i went bowling with my friends. It was a very relaxed and genial day.
I have a lot of big plans for the very near future. Starting next month i would like to start recording my first CD. I'm not completely sure of who will play on it, but i have an idea. The owner of GFI productions ( The place where i did my recording engineer internship last year) Asked me to come back and write parts for some bands and be on some recordings this summer. So i think that I will record things there as well. I'm planning on saving up a lot of money once i start working regularly at the new resturaunt. If you don't know, It's called the BIG APPLE CAFE, and is located on Park Avenue. I will pretty much be the sous chef ( second in command to the head chef, which will be my buddy erik that i've worked with at 3 different places). I plan to save money to go to culinary school next year. My plan is to move to New York City, go to school part time, and gig and work to make money. Right now my buddy Mike Cottone is going to move down with me. Recently, he auditioned for the airforce band, and got the job, but he is still in school. He may decide to take the job after he graduates. That is okay, because tonight Quinn asked me if i'd want to move down there with him next year. So either way, it will work.
So this summer and fall i will be very busy, not too busy to where i have no life, but I am more focused to succeed than i have ever been in my entire life. I know this will work, and with God on my side, i know i'll make it.
