What do you think about the T.R.U.T.H commecials?(the ones where they go to the tabacco company and ask why they kill their customers.........)
I think that they need to look at the REAL issue. The customers need to stop killing themselves! Say there is a piece of food created that tastes so good that it can calm your nereves and give you a better life, but one ingrediant in it can cause instant death. Now is it the companies fault for putting the product out....yes.....but it's also the consumers fault for being so dumb!!! lemme know what ya'll think!!! be nice!!!!hahaha NOT!

I agree, to a certain extent. But it really is the fault of the government and marketing. If you put something out there, people will buy it. And because a disheartening majority of people, mainly in the United States, have a poor understanding of the intricate details of the English language, they are easily sucked in by advertisers and the "weasle-words" they use to win people over. It's how the business keeps running. Yes, cigarettes are so terrible that they kill more people a year than car accidents, cancer, and AIDs combined (I think there are a few others, also), but it all comes down to the fact that it is a business. A business that makes extremely large sums of money DAILY, let alone anually. So basically, as long as people keep buying tobacco products, they will remain availible for people to buy, people to try for the first time under some influence by friends, family, or otherwise, availible for people to abuse, and for people to ultimately die from. It's a vicous and very unfortunate cycle that once again the material world has created.
